I've never been a huge fan of monochrome sets (with a few exceptions), which is probably why I've never designed one. That changes today.
I recently came across the Hermes 3000 typewriter in its iconic mint green colorway. As a huge fan of teal and turquoise, the color immediately caught my attention, and I had to throw together some renders to see how it would look on keycaps.
After spending some time comparing colors with my RAL D2 book, I narrowed it down to either RAL 160 80 20 Feather Green or RAL 160 80 25 Menthol Green. The renders shown here use RAL 160 80 20 Feather Green, but the two colors are very similar both on screen and in real life, so the final choice would ideally be made after evaluating physical samples.
You won't notice a specific manufacturer attached to the project, as I'm open to producing it in whichever profile makes the most sense. I think the design is versatile enough to work well in GMK CYL/MTNU, SWG, or even PBT dye-sub, which would be a particularly fitting option given the black legends.
What about you? Are you a fan of this color?
